My name is _______________ and I LIKE MIKE!
This November, Bergen County will vote for its next Sheriff.
I will cast my vote for Michael Saudino and I would like to take a moment to share some valuable information with you.
First, Michael Saudino’s professional and community records reflect over 38 years of dedicated service to Bergen County. Here are just a few highlights of Mike’s professional experiences and community activities:
• Emerson Police Department (Detective, Sergeant and Lieutenant)
• Emerson Chief of Police – 2002 to Present
• President of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association – Current
• Former PBA President
• Former Vice-President of the New Jersey State PBA
• Emerson Volunteer Fire Department – 1978-1998 (Former President)
• Knights of Columbus: St. Thomas Moore Council 2188 – 3rd Degree
• NAM KNIGHTS M.C. – 14 year member.
While Mike’s record is certainly impressive, I am most excited about Mike’s message.
When it comes to the issues facing Bergen County and its taxpayers – Mike Saudino is on the job.
Mike is committed to ending the insane spending that has caused our property taxes to skyrocket. You should see what Mike has done with his town’s budget (it is back down at levels seen in 2004!)
Mike vows to take the politics out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department – Mike knows it is time to get back to work and move away from unnecessary trips, events and appearances.
Mike understands the importance of local police departments. The duplication of services that is currently taking place in our county is costing money that we simply don’t have. Mike knows how to be fiscally responsible without jeopardizing quality and that is something Bergen County desperately needs.

With your vote this November we can bring responsibility and common sense back to Bergen County!
